NATALEE MARIE
Born and raised in Chicago, my life has always been surrounded by the arts.
My passion for acting began at 8 when I starred in my brother’s short film, Roses are Pink. This experience sparked a lifelong love for storytelling. I joined the Chicago Children’s Choir, which connected me with diverse cultures and languages, allowing me to sing in various styles.
In 5th grade, after seeing my school's musical theater program, I eagerly took the stage as Wendy in Peter Pan and later as Shrek in Shrek the Musical. Classes at Piven Theatre deepened my commitment to acting, where I became the youngest member of their youth professional company, learning about ensemble work and community engagement.
Summers at Second City introduced me to improv, enhancing my comedic timing and character dynamics. I then focused on acting at the Chicago Academy for the Arts, studying all aspects of theater, from stagecraft to circus skills, under talented professionals.
Throughout high school, I continued singing and participating in musicals, which led me to CalArts for advanced studies. There, I learned from esteemed instructors in acting, voice, and movement, preparing me for a career in the entertainment industry.
As I approach graduation, I'm excited to apply my skills. Thank you for joining me on this adventure—I can’t wait to see where it leads!
